This past September 2010, I received a precious gift from the Fae. There is a beautiful little pond I walk to from my home, and when I visit there, I am always greeting the Faery and Elven Beings unseen to my human eyes, but there nonetheless.

While standing by the water's side enjoying the last of the wild astors before Fall set in, I noticed two pretty deep red dragonflies resting on the goldenrod there. One of the dragonflies flew right onto my arm and rested there while I stared in awe at this beautiful creature.

Then it flew off of my arm and onto the grass below. I looked to where it had gone and saw it was resting on a dried leaf. Something embedded in the ground- right near the resting dragonfly caught my eye. I was surprised to see a shiny clear glass object embedded into the dirt. I looked back at where the dragonfly had been, but it had gone.

Digging up the embedded object , I was delighted to see that it was actually a small clear glass flower vase-- perfect for holding a few clippings of astors! This is extreemly unusual to find something like a small flower vase all but buried in the ground near a beautiful pond.

I held the vase and squealed with delight. Suddenly that same deep red dragonfly flew up to me again and rested on my arm again- only facing me directly.

Thank you , Faeries, for this beautiful gift! I said-- I knew that the Fae were involved. I have a little windowsill near my room where I place crystals and small plants. I also invite the Fae to make themselves at home in that window area, and I have lots of fae cottages there as well . This little mysterious Vase gift from the Fae fits perfectly on my windowsill. Now that Winter is here, I think of my Fae friends and those beautiful dragonflies as I admire that pretty little vase!
